In partnership with the AFL, Firefly Activations designed and operated a custom 170m zipline activation spanning from Elder Park to the Adelaide Oval footbridge — soaring high above the Torrens River and the festival crowd below.

With a 15m launch platform and twin lines running simultaneously, the activation drew thousands of participants across each four-day festival. With pre-sales booking out within 24 hours of release, the zipline has become one of the most anticipated experiences during the Footy Festival. Each year, the zipline generated significant media coverage and became one of the most talked-about experiences at Gather Round.
